27 1/2" round bbl. w/good rifle, Colt patent markings on top of frame & cylinder. Mechanically good, forearm appears to be replaced, butt stock appears to be original w/some period repairs. Mfg. circa 1857-1864 w/ estimated production of approx. 1,000-1,500 guns produced. A nice example of a very rare Colt.
