Antique mfg. circa 1889, in std. saddle ring config. w/a good bore, clean patent & caliber markings on bbl. w/grey to brown patina on bbl. & magazine tube, magazine tube does have some small visible dents, the brass receiver has a nice patina, mechanically gun operates smoothly & includes an original 3 pc. cleaning rod in the butt stock. The wood appears to be in good, original & solid condition, overall a very nice example of as desirable 1866 Carbine.
