Mfg circa 1851 & has unique 4" bbl w/out attached loading lever, also has a square back trigger guard which appears to be a hold over from the Baby Dragoon model.  The back strap is engraved L.B. to H.L.B. N.C. & walnut grips appear original, mechanically it is in fair condition & all visible numbers including the wedge are matching, the Wells Fargo Model as called by collectors, have numerous evolutionary changes, this is a good example of a scarce Colt Model w/an interesting, personalized engraving.
